- getting away with murder -

April 17, 2018 Travis Eaton Scadron

A bee stung me

It must have had a death wish

To sting a giant

So I gave it thirty seconds to live

It descended slowly on a flower

And wrapped itself in petals

And slept eternal

Travis E. Scadron

I'm a wanderer.  I have lived in North America, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.  Along the way, I have grown to value human connections above all else.  I cherish the similarities and differences between people and cultures.  I seek to understand what causes them and encourage others to try do the same.

Much of my work is inspired by the volatility of emotion.  Perceptions constantly shift and evolve, resulting in anything from the purest of harmony to utter confusion.  My words attempt to capture the uncertainty inherent in all moments.
